2025 will be my 52nd year of participating in physie. In 2023, I thought, "What better way to celebrate 50 years in physie than to start a club to share the many positives of the sport"! Throughout this time, I have placed numerous times at Zone Finals and have been a member of many successful physie teams. Starting a club with my "dear physie friend" (of over 30 years), will give me the chance to share my love of physie and encourage women to participate for many years. Through physie, I have formed many wonderful life-long friendships with women of all ages, and I hope to be able to encourage you to find the joy, and love this fabulous sport too!

I started Physie as a five-year-old and have continued my passion for physie by also taking on teaching roles since 2011. I still love the experience of competing, and my most recent success was winning the QLD Open Over 33 Ladies section in 2023, and making the Open Over 33 Ladies National Grand Final in 2022. When I am not at physie, I am spending time with my husband and three young children and I am also a teacher of physical education and science. My aim is to continue sharing my love of physie with my students, and helping them to develop into confident women who "dance as if no one is watching"!
